HR Development

Human Resource Development (HRD) is the framework for helping employees develop their personal and organizational skills, knowledge, and abilities. IPD designs and provides programs to orient, train and develop personnel by improving skills, knowledge, capabilities and competencies required to perform well on the job. By offering programs designed to promote personal and professional career growth, they enable organizations to improve efficiency, productivity and profitability.

Personal Development

Maslow suggests that all individuals have an in-built need for personal development which occurs through a process called self-actualisation. Personal development is a lifelong process. It is a way for people to assess their skills and qualities, consider their aims in life and set goals in order to realise and maximise their potential. We strongly believe that It is never too late to learn new skills and develop yourself

Youth

In IPD, we know that young people is our future. For this reason we are investing in youth education and in the promotion of European awarness, supporting young people, helping people with fewer opportunities in their social integration, making youth participation in public life more active and strengthening their civil identity. We try to stimulate the participation of young people for involvement in activities related to personal and social development activities for social adaptation of marginalized youth communities. Youth empowerment, raising young people’ s awareness of the aching problems of our world, integration of socially disadvantaged and disabled people, fostering human rights, gender equality and intercultural dialogue are among our priorities.

Entrepreneurship

The main goal of fostering entrepreneurship is to create growth and wealth by giving high value added activities to the economy. This can be reached when new businesses are created and the existing ones keep their growing path (Fabre & Smith, 2003). IPD is dedicated in strengthening and developpin an entrepreneurial culture. We believe in the importance of entrepreneurship as it generates innovation, competitiveness, job creation and society wealth. One of our visions is to Empower Startups and enable them reach new heights! Our dedicated mentors give entrepreneurs the guidance, technical and practical advices for their specific business needs, helping the startups to learn and grow in this competitive industry.

Ageing

In IPD we believe that the five-generation workforce is an emerging reality. In order to maintain economic growth, employers and governments must recognize the productive opportunity of older employees. Each generation – including older, experienced workers – has different ways of working and putting their skills to use. Mentoring and reverse mentoring can boost morale and productivity. Older workers can bring institutional knowledge and perspective, social maturity and stability, and can pass on critical knowledge or business relationships to younger workers. An age-diverse labor force also leads to better performance.

Women Leadership

Leadership is not gender-specific. It is a set of leadership qualities inherent or cultivated in person or persons who develop themselves into great leaders with mass following. Leaders can be either men or women. Women are gradually making their leadership presence felt in entrepreneurship, administration, education, engineering, health, etc. at regional, national, and global levels. We believe that women are now resolved to break the traditional glass ceiling that barred them from entering leadership positions even if they possessed requisite skills and talent to occupy them.

Women Enpowerment

According totheEuropean Institute of Gender Equality "Women’s empowerment has five components: women’s sense of self-worth; their right to have and to determine choices; their right to have access to opportunities and resources; their right to have power to control their own lives, both within and outside the home; and their ability to influence the direction of social change to create a more just social and economic order, nationally and internationally." In this context, education, training, awareness raising, building self-confidence, expansion of choices, increased access to and control over resources, and actions to transform the structures and institutions that reinforce and perpetuate gender discrimination and inequality are important tools for empowering women and girls to claim their rights.
